Teen Gothic

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any goth concerts happening on the east coast of the US this year? I have never attended a concert for enjoyment and I dont really know where to look to see if there's anything happening.

Yeah, deep low male or female vocals and catchy tunes. What is your recommend?

As the title says, I wanna find more modern bands in the gothic rock (ala, Sisters of Mercy, Mission, or Nephilim sounding bands) or deathrock catagory that formed recently. I realize my tastes are stuck in the more classic bands and I want to expand my tastes to include modern acts. I also just want to support bands that are currently still making music.

Please no post-punk or -wave (not bad genres, but they're not what I'm looking for). Also the bands have to be formed in 2010 and beyond.

There's a particular song I've had stuck in my had for a week. The trouble is, I don't know where exactly I heard it, or what it's called, so I thought I'd ask. I remember that it was on a goth music playlist somewhere, but I haven't managed to find it again when scrubbing through the first few places I thought I might've heard it. I also couldn't find it from searching the lyrics that stood out to me; it came up with a bunch of Christian stuff.

I remember some of the lines went something like this:

Strip me to the atom Make me new again/so I can shed my skin May all that I have left to bear be mine and mine alone

I'm quite dying to know who made it. I'd like to hear more of their music.
